Maharaja Chhiatrasal on Marifat

Maharaja Chhiatrasal says in one of his poems: "The Six Hindu darshans (six philosophies) when viewed in isolation from each other, it appears like an elephant for the blind."

In Tartam wani, Maarifat is the highest state of spiritual realization, particularly of Aksharateet level of reality.

Marifat means not being tied to any one person or idea, but trying to understand everyone and all ideas.
By understanding everyone and everything, we also understand more what we really believe.

The blind children could not understand the elephant well by touching one part, so their teacher gave them knowledge about the whole elephant by holding the elephant statue in their hands, then those children got complete knowledge about that part which they touched and the parts touched by others. After all, that is the complete knowledge.

Chhatrasal says: "Six darshans (six philosophies) when viewed in isolation, is like an elephant for the blind." But when all of them are integrated in light of Tartam, you can see clearly every philosophy's true value and then transcend to a higher view of one supreme reality.

Why was this vision of complete knowledge not developed till now? Because the man's intelligence was like that of a child. Can the issue of puberty be explained to a child? No. Similarly, unless the human intellect is able to think beyond the narrow confines, even the knowledge of Maarifat cannot be given.

By reaching the stage of Maarifat, the seeker makes his mind clear and transparent and one day the kingdom of God (heart abode of awakened soul) becomes visible in him.

Therefore, the person in Maarifat state starts seeing clearly all those spiritual things, which till now he had been believing only after knowing from others, like heaven, hell, angels, prophets, God's abode etc.

Mahamati Prannath says that it is true that in the state of Maarifat, the knowledge of truth starts appearing within the soul, but that knowledge reflects only the role of truth to which its consciousness is related. The knowledge of the world from which it has come, or the center of consciousness in existence to which it is connected, is manifested in it.

Since the best souls of the highest worlds had not yet arrived, the term Marifat was used till now for Kshar and Akshar levels of realities, but the complete knowledge of Marifat of Aksharateet level was not revealed. Because human intelligence wasn't ready for it.

Again, Marifat means not being tied to any one person or idea, but trying to understand everyone and all ideas.
By understanding everyone and everything, we also understand more what we really believe.

This idea is of great relevance even today when devotee sundersath are getting blind folded by one person's ideas, which they claim to be true alone.

I have lived my whole sundersath life of 44 years by exploring diversities to arrive at the best meanings for an awakened living. I want all divine friends to do so if they really seek for Marifat. Or else, it will only remain nothing more than a dream!

Wake up now!
