ЁЯкФ My Vow for Social Media & Public Speaking

I am a Sundersath. I know that after AI, social media is where discernment weakens the fastest. From the Taratam view, this is a subtle influence of illusory maya. This is not a rule, but my personal vow of self-restraint.

Whenever I am about to post or speak—especially under urgency, pressure, or need for validation—I pause and remember this vow.

This vow is mine.

1. Check myself first Before posting or speaking, I check my inner state. If my words come from agitation, fatigue, anger, or the need to prove myself, I will not post or speak.

2. Social media is not satsang: Words online travel far without context and return as responsibility. I share only what I am ready to stand by.

3. Speak to serve, not to perform Talks and satsang are service to awareness, not displays of knowledge. If clarity or aliveness is missing inside, speaking becomes distortion.

4. Validation is not truth: Likes, shares, praise, or applause do not define truth. Truth is measured by inner discernment, not reactions.

5. Be careful of the pulls of maya I remember that: addiction to sexualized pleasure, distracting entertainment, intellectual pride based only on material knowledge, and attraction to miracles, magic, or tricks pull consciousness downward, not upward. I keep distance from words or posts influenced by these pulls.

6. No sharing without discernment: I do not forward ideas, news, or accusations without checking and understanding them. I speak only when I am ready to take responsibility for truth and impact.

7. Stay away from ego and subtle harm If my words lift me up by putting others down, or cause subtle harm to any group, I choose silence. Words born from ego are not my practice.

8. Silence is also a response: Not every statement needs a reply. Not every disagreement needs correction. Sometimes, silence is the deepest practice.

9. Quality over regularity Posting or speaking regularly is for service, not ego or streaks.

An honest pause is better than empty content.

10. Respect people's time: Listeners and readers offer time, attention, and trust. Careless or incomplete words waste their awareness.

11. Have the courage to say "not today": Speaking every day is not spiritual discipline.

Sometimes "not today" shows honesty and wisdom.

12. Do not fill inner emptiness: I will not speak just because a schedule demands content. Creating output without inner clarity only expands illusion.

13. Final Taratam test: Before posting or speaking, I ask: Does this increase clarity? Does this awaken compassion?Does this strengthen discernment? If not, silence is better.

14. Closing resolve: I will not throw words; I will refine them. I choose responsibility over reaction. Where discernment is missing, pause is my dharma.

15. Personal reminderPlease help me notice when I slip while trying to follow this vow.

Will you gently draw my attention to any mistakes I may make in observing this vow?

If you find it meaningful, you are welcome to adopt and use this vow yourself.

Note: Keep this in your phone Notes / Lock Screen / Wallpaper. Before posting, take one deep breath and read even one point—especially for conflict, politics, religion, or personal criticism.
